Excel: Generate a Unique List (get rid of Duplicates) – Method #2



You have a list of entries listed down a column – several of which are duplicate/triplicate/etc. entries. You’d like the list cleaned up so that you have only ONE of each entry option.



In our list, each employees record depicts their manager’s name. You’d like to create a drop-down for the Manager column – but that entails have a list of unique names.



We can make the list of unique names from the existing column of duplicate names.
